Overview

Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka was founded durring the early 16th century in fall of the year 1519, by Zlèsî Êyêmê. The establishment of Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka's construction back out of the project. Zlèsî Êyêmê pushed on reguardles, and Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brick construction taking the shape of large simple gemometric shapes which ate then embelished with decorative features, but retain their simple shapes in spite of the added features such as pillars, faccaddes, and covered walkways. The blocky nature gives a general impression of extreem age, as if each structure has existed since time immemorial.

Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka is buildings have been located at convienant points along the swamp Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the broad gravel streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. The would-be-castle fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

A look around Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka is like a look into a broken heart. There is no planning, no organization. Everyone here clearly goes about their own thing with little thought to anyone around them who isn’t selling something they need. It’s not malicious. Heads are hung. Eyes are empty. Something truly horrible happened here once upon a time and the town never healed.

Cultural Notes

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..

In Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka sometimes, near one of the seasonal solstices, the sun appears to split into three and it rains from a clear sky for several hours.

The Necrocraft near Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka are known to be quite timid.

Berě Wuslǐ Birěkhka's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves long periods of drunkenness to channel Invocation energies of tier 3 via throat chanting.
